The African HCI community seeks to serve as an umbrella body for African HCI scholarship and the AfriCHI conferences. Our aim is to develop and sustain a unified forum and local expertise for Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and Interaction Design in Africa. This forum will also increase networking, mentoring and collaboration opportunities between African scholars and practitioners, all those supporting or interested in Africa-based HCI, and other communities related to ACM SIGCHI.
